M.Plan in Urban and Regional Planning: What is it about? A full time 2 years postgraduate program inclusive of 4 semesters - Master of planning in urban and regional planning precisely focus on planning aspects of regional, urban, housing, environmental, transportation etc. This program enhances critical thinking which enhances the problem solving ideologies through design and allied research in correlation to social, economical , environmental issues in respect to tangible and intangible factors.
M.Plan in Urban and Regional Planning: Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility for admission in Master of planning in Urban and Regional Planning program is,
- The candidate must have passed B.Planning/BE Civil/B.Arch/or Masters in Economics, Geography, Sociology
- With a minimum 55% score from a recognized Indian University or International University.
- It must also be recognised by UGC/IGNOU/AIU or associations like AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST, reserved list will be given relaxation of 5% in every institute.
- Candidates with GATE scores are not required to write any entrance exam.
- Candidates with no GATE scores must attend the entrance exam conducted by the respective university/Institution.
